AI Executive Summary
The Cosmopolitan remains the trendiest pick on the Las Vegas Strip in 2026. Now fully integrated into MGM Rewards and the Marriott Bonvoy MGM Collection, it offers some of the best terrace views in the city. While the 'Identity' program is gone, the high-energy vibe, world-class dining like Wicked Spoon, and central location remain unbeatable.

2026 Loyalty Update: The transition is complete. The Cosmopolitan has retired its “Identity” program and is now fully integrated into MGM Rewards. Additionally, the hotel is a flagship property in the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. This means Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points here, and elite members (Platinum and above) enjoy specific benefits like enhanced Wi-Fi and late checkout, though standard Marriott perks like free breakfast are handled differently under the MGM Collection rules.

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas
Check-in
The taxi dropped us off at the valet entrance, which is next to The Cosmopolitan lobby. The lobby provides your first glimpse inside the casino and the Chelsea Tower. The Boulevard Tower is a bit further away, closer to restaurants and the Las Vegas Strip.

Entering the lobby, we noticed long check-in queues. Luckily, with Marriott Bonvoy Platinum/Titanium or MGM Rewards Gold+ status, you can use the dedicated VIP / Invited Guest check-in area to skip the crowds.
Terrace Studio Fountain View Room
Our 58-square-meter (620 sqft) Terrace Studio Fountain View room was on the 32nd floor of the Chelsea Tower. The private balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains is arguably the best “amenity” in all of Las Vegas.

The room features a Japanese-style soaking tub and a separate shower with C.O. Bigelow amenities. Charging is easy with plenty of USB and power sockets.
Amenities & Pools
There is a gym and a pool in both towers. The Chelsea Pool is generally more relaxed, while the Boulevard Pool acts as an entertainment hub with movies and social events.
Tip: In 2026, pool chairs still disappear by 10 AM. If you want a spot in the shade, head down early or book a daybed in advance via the MGM Rewards app.
Dining
The Cosmopolitan remains a culinary leader on the Strip:
- Wicked Spoon: Still a top-tier buffet, focusing on small, high-quality individual plates.
- STK Steakhouse: High-energy fine dining. It is loud, but the food is fabulous.
- Eggslut: The go-to for a quick breakfast (expect a line!).
- Secret Pizza: Still tucked away on the third floor with no signage—look for the record-lined hallway.
Casino & Gaming
The casino is modern and features a great mix of high-limit areas and social gaming. If you are a poker player, note that there is no poker room here. You should head to the nearby Aria, Bellagio, or Park MGM (formerly Monte Carlo).
Conclusion
- Vibe: Trendy, modern, and high-energy.
- Loyalty: Fully integrated into MGM Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy (MGM Collection).
- The View: The Fountain View Terrace remains the gold standard for Vegas rooms.
- Dining: Excellent variety, from high-end steakhouses to “secret” pizza.
