Las Vegas Hotel Reviews (Strip and Downtown, 2026)
Las Vegas rewards picking the right building more than most cities do, so these reviews are organised around what each one is actually for. The Cosmopolitan remains the trendiest room on the Strip, with the terrace suites and Wicked Spoon still the draw, now folded into MGM Rewards and Bonvoy. The Waldorf Astoria is the opposite proposition, a non-gaming tower for people who want quiet. Conrad and Crockfords at Resorts World sit between the two, with Crockfords the better room of that pair and the Diamond Reserve tier changing the loyalty maths.
Downtown gets its own entry in Circa, adults-only, tall, loud, and built around Stadium Swim and the sportsbook. Which Las Vegas hotel is best if you do not want a casino?
The Waldorf Astoria, formerly the Mandarin Oriental. It is a non-gaming tower in the middle of the Strip, which makes it the quietest place to stay without leaving the action. The rooms and pool deck are calm, the elevator arrangement to reach them is tedious, and Hilton Diamond recognition is thin, so book it for the atmosphere rather than the status.
Is Circa worth staying at Downtown?
If you are over 21 and want the pool and the sportsbook, yes. Circa is adults-only, still the tallest tower Downtown as of 2026, and holds both the largest sportsbook in the world and Stadium Swim. The recurring complaint in our review is noise: the pool bass carries into a lot of rooms, so it is the wrong pick for an early night.
What changed on the Strip for 2026?
Three things worth planning around. Caesars Palace has renovated into the new Colosseum Tower, M Resort has added a large tower expansion, and the Mirage has closed, which has shifted the middle of the Strip. On the loyalty side, The Cosmopolitan is now fully in MGM Rewards and the Marriott Bonvoy MGM Collection, and its old Identity programme is gone.
